Marble polishing & installation in Dubai

Marble polishing in Dubai that brings back the shine without a new floor

Marble floors in Dubai villas and lobbies lose their shine to sand, foot traffic and the wrong cleaning products. Marble polishing grinds away the dull, scratched surface and brings the finish back, usually for far less than a new floor. We also repair cracks, seal against stains and install new marble. Send photos on WhatsApp for a price.

Signs to look for

What your marble is telling you

Most marble problems are on the surface, which is why most can be fixed without replacing the stone.

Dull patches in walkways

Sand carried in on shoes acts like sandpaper. The shine wears off along the paths people walk most.

Rings and dull marks

Lemon, vinegar, fizzy drinks and many bathroom cleaners etch marble. The mark is not a stain on top. It is damage to the surface.

Dark or yellow stains

Oil, coffee and water soak into unsealed marble. Some stains can be drawn out. Others need the surface taken back.

Scratches

Furniture dragged across the floor leaves scratches that catch the light. Fine scratches polish out.

Uneven edges between tiles

Raised edges where one tile sits higher than the next catch dirt and toes. Grinding flattens the floor into one surface.

Cracks and chips

Small cracks and chipped edges can be filled with coloured resin and polished to blend in.

Know what you are paying for

A shiny coating or a real polish?

Some marble shine comes from a coating that sits on top of the stone. It looks good at handover and wears off in the walkways within months.

Coating or quick buff

  • Shine sits on top of the stone.
  • Scratches and etch marks stay underneath.
  • Wears off first where people walk.
  • Can leave the floor slippery.

Diamond polishing

  • Surface ground back to fresh stone.
  • Scratches and dull patches removed.
  • Polished in stages to the finish you want.
  • Sealed afterwards against stains.
Marble work

What we do with marble

Most jobs are restoration. New marble is laid with the same care for what is underneath.

Polishing and restoration

Grinding, honing and polishing to remove wear, scratches and etch marks and bring back the shine.

Best for:Villa floors, lobbies
Watch for:Furniture moved out first

Crack and chip repair

Resin filling matched to the stone colour, then polished level with the surface.

Best for:Entrances, stair edges
Watch for:Cracks caused by movement underneath

Sealing

A penetrating sealer that slows down how quickly spills soak in. It does not stop acids etching the surface.

Best for:Kitchens, bathrooms, dining areas
Watch for:Resealing as it wears

Installation

New marble floors, stairs, thresholds and vanity tops, laid level on full adhesive.

Best for:Renovations, new villas
Watch for:Matching veins and colour

Keeping it looking right

How often marble needs attention

Marble lasts for generations if it is looked after. These are rough guides, not fixed rules.

Everyday cleaning Dry mop daily Sand does the most damage. Remove it before it gets walked in.
Spills Wipe straight away Acids etch within minutes. Use a pH-neutral cleaner only.
Sealing Every 1 to 2 years More often in kitchens and busy areas.
Polishing When walkways dull Busy villa floors often need it every few years.
Moving out of a villa?

Marble polishing before handover can make the difference at the final inspection. Book it after the painting and before the deep clean.

FAQ

Marble polishing questions

It depends on the area, the condition of the marble and whether it needs grinding or only polishing. Send daylight photos on WhatsApp and we reply with a price.

It depends on the size of the floor and how worn it is. A single room is quicker than a whole villa floor. We give you the timeline with the quote.

Wet polishing creates slurry rather than dust. We protect walls, skirting and doors and clean the floor at the end.

In most cases, yes. Etching is surface damage, so polishing takes the surface back past it.

No. Sealing slows down how fast liquids soak in, which gives you time to wipe them up. It does not stop acids from etching the surface.
